When you ask for information from third parties (clients, suppliers, etc.), it is common for them to have doubts when filling in your requests, or for you to have doubts when reviewing their answers.
To avoid long email chains with unclear questions and answers, Parallel offers the possibility of including comments in any of the items of a petition.
In this article we explain how you can send comments to recipients, review the ones they send you, or send internal comments within your organization.
If you have received a Parallel and you do not know how to leave comments, you can also refer to this article.
Send comments to the recipient
On the Replies tab of a petition you have sent, you will find the answers or documentation that your recipient has provided. If you notice that something is not correct when reviewing the answers, or if you want to leave a comment (e.g. to clarify something), you can do so by clicking the chat icon () in the top right corner of each field.
A window will open next to that field. You can write your message and send it click on the button.
You can write as many comments as you like. Your recipient(s) will be able to see your comments automatically in the platform. However, we will not notify your recipient via email until 15 minutes have passed without you leaving any new messages. This way, we bundle all new comments into a single notification so that Parallel does not clutter your clients' email inbox.
Review comments from the recipient
If your recipient sends you a comment or replies to yours, we will notify you within the same 15 minutes system. Same as above, if you are using our platform, you will be able to see the messages instantly, and we will not notify you of messages you have already read.
In the table of contents located on the right side of every petition, you can quickly see the fields that have new comments, review them by clicking on the field icon and reply to them if necessary.
You can also communicate with your colleagues within your organization by selecting the option Internal comments before submitting a comment. These comments will not be shown to the recipient, only your colleagues that have access to the petition will see them.
